Job Description
Description Responsible to work with cross-functional team (applications team, security & governance team, technology services team or vendors) for provide the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to the development of an enterprise's solutions architecture and creates deliverables that help develop a direction for managing the organization's portfolio of "to be" and "as is" solutions — including systems (meaning not just applications, but also processes and information), shared infrastructure services, and shared application services and components to better match targeted business outcome objectives and compliance with Kenanga Group's Hybrid Cloud Landing Zone from the perspectives of policy, standards, security, governance, and regulatory requirements, and all relevant cloud best practices. Responsibility • Review and asses fitness-for-purpose of the requirement specification that include architecture, infrastructure, platform, networking and security by incorporating relevant industry standards, best practices, emerging technologies and regulatory requirements changes. • Work with Enterprise Architecture team to design and direct the governance activities associated with ensuring cloud solutions architecture assurance and compliance. • Extend Enterprise Architecture Artifacts to define the principles, guidelines, standards, patterns, technologies and reference architecture related to cloud-centric solutions and implementations • In post-architecture compliance assessment, produce architecture decision to document the decision made, trade-off, consequences and relevant impact on the implementation of the solution and publish to relevant stakeholders for reference. • Design and lead the implementation of a solutions architecture across a group of specific business applications or technologies based on business requirements, architecture best practices and cloud well-architected framework. • Provide consulting support to cross-functional team within projects to ensure the project is aligned with the overall enterprise architecture. • Work closely with the project/program management office (PMO) or project management office, Technology Services Team and Security & Governance team to ensure the architecture of the solution are implemented successfully in the target environment. • Lead and design the reference Architecture and provide input to the DevOps team for implementation of codified stacks that meet the needs of the applications • Educates the cross-functional team to design and implement architectures based on best practices. Provides hands-on technical coaching to accelerate Cloud learning in the organization. • Develop a roadmap for the evolution of the enterprise application portfolio from current state to future, aligned with business and IT. • Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models and enablement of application teams. Key Deliverables • DevSecOps Architecture for both Cloud Platform & Application with full audit trail and approval workflow embedded • Secure API and integration Architecture to enable digital capabilities of the enterprise • Solution Architecture Artifacts per project, compliance with Enterprise Architecture and fit-for-purpose in the Azure Landing Zone • Relevant cloud-centric application design pattern, standards and policies for enterprise adoption • Regular Knowledge Sharing and Learning outcome • Relevant POC to attest the validity of the technology being adoption for the application development standards • Tracking and resolution of technical debts on post implementation of the solution and continuous compliance. Skill Sets & Knowledge • Azure Cloud skills. AWS will be added advantage. • Knowledge of the cloud service offerings and how they are integrated to deliver business solutions. • Understanding of CIS and relevant industry standards to ensure compliance in cloud implementation. • Understanding of local financial regulatory requirement (e.g. RMIT) to ensure compliance in cloud implementation. • Knowledge of Cloud Well-Architected Framework, industry standards and best practices on IaaS/PaaS • Knowledge of Application deployment on Containerization Technology • Knowledge of Cloud IAM, Cloud Security and Cloud Governance in term of resources consistency, deployment efficiency, identity management, and cost management • Knowledge of declarative programming in Infra as code, not limiting to Azure ARM, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform. • Knowledge of automation services to implement the discipline of DevOps, not limiting to Azure DevOps Services. • Technical writing skills for documenting environments and procedures. • Architecture artifacts diagramming and documentation. • Knowledge of unifying operationalization of hybrid cloud environment is added advantage. • Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum environment is added advantage. • Experience with test-driven development frameworks for application and infrastructure code is added advantage.
